Signal is a public art piece for Treasure Island made of steel from the former East Span of the Bay Bridge.

Three 12-ton girders and a signal light have been repurposed to make a steel ring 25 feet across sitting on low concrete piers.

Artist Tom Loughlin says, “I hope visitors will find themselves thinking about our place in the natural landscape and the tools we build to help us traverse it.”
